Logistics giant agrees deal for 645,000 sq ft warehouse

Supply chain giant XPO Logistics has reportedly signed a 10-year lease on a 645,000 sq ft building in Staffordshire.

The company will move into the Tamworth 594 building, to the west of the town centre, once the current occupiers move out, according to Property Week.

The building was split in 2013, with Hermes Parcelnet occupying 336,000 sq ft across blocks A and B and Euro Car Parts having the 258,000 sq ft of block C. Both businesses will move to nearby schemes.

Logicor plans to add a further 50,000 sq ft to the building in order to meet XPO Logistics’ requirements.
