Adrian Davis, the managing director of Jonathan Lee Executive Search for the last six years, has died.

Jonathan Lee, the chairman of the eponymous recruitment group, announced his passing on the company’s website.

Mr Davis had been battling cancer but died on Saturday, aged 62.

Mr Lee paid tribute to his colleague, who he described as “a true professional”.

“Commercially trained, his background was in engineering and he had a real passion for anything mechanical especially classic cars,” he said.

“He was also a keen sportsman enjoying skiing and watching Worcester Warriors rugby, an active Freemason and an avid traveller.

“Adrian was a true gentleman and dedicated family man, traditional in his values, enthusiastic in whatever he engaged himself in and warm and friendly towards whoever he met. He will be sorely missed.”
