A better-than-expected second half of the year has resulted in revenues at law firm Gateley rising by at least £10m.

The Birmingham-headquartered firm has said revenues will be no less than £77m for the year to April when it announces its full-year results this summer, up from £67m in 2016.

The stock market-listed firm expects profitability to also be up by around 14%, with adjusted EBITDA not less than £14.7m.

The firm said its legal business lines “continue to perform well” and provide a strong platform for further expansion of the wider group.

Gateley chief executive Mike Ward hailed the “continued progress” the firm had made.

He said: “This represents another year of expansion for us. This has been possible due to the strength of our service offering, the depth of our client relationships and the growth in our teams of skilled professionals.”

The firm expects to release its year-end results in mid-July.
