Supermarket jobs pledge with opening of new store

A new supermarket in Warwickshire is set to create 15 jobs when its opens next month.

Aldi UK has confirmed that its new store in Nuneaton will open on July 27. It will generate a mix of full and part-time posts.

The new 1,140 sqm store on Weddington Road, which is one of over 60 Aldi is opening nationally this year, will be the second store in the town and will have 100 car parking spaces.

The company is currently recruiting for the new positions. They will report to Ricardo Sealey, who has been appointed store manager.

The new store will be open from 8am until 10pm every day apart from Sunday, when it opens from 10am to 4pm.

Aldi, the current Grocer of the Year, derives more than three quarters (77%) of its sales from products sourced via British suppliers. All its core range of fresh meat is from British farms and the company is the official supermarket partner of Team GB.
