Brindleyplace Dragonboat Festival
The Brindleyplace Dragonboat Race returns on Saturday. Now in its 18th year, the event is the perfect opportunity to cheer on Brummie businesses as they compete to become the best paddlers in the city. The Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society are putting on a 1920s-murder mystery, but as the title suggests, everything that can go wrong, does. Step Back to the 1940s
The Severn Valley Railway are hosting their annual 1940s weekend over the next few days, encouraging locals to get dressed up in 1940s costumes and enjoy re-enactors alongside a wide range of events at each stop along the line, including vintage stalls, hairdressers, vehicle displays, and live entertainment. Foodies Festival
The UK’s biggest food festival returns to Birmingham’s Cannon Hill Park this weekend. The Great British Bake Off 2016 winner Candice Brown will be baking live cakes and desserts alongside Michelin starred chefs and MasterChef stars. Dinosaurs in the Wild
The NEC are welcoming there new multi-million-pound attraction Dinosaurs in the Wild this weekend. The 70-minute adventure will transport families back over 60 million years and give visitors the chance to see dinosaurs as they have never before.
