Continued growth prompts Midlands expansion for insurer
Risk and insurance adviser, JLT Specialty is relocating its Birmingham office as part of a Midlands-wide expansion programme prompted by continued growth.
Fifty JLT employees will relocate from the third floor of 45 Church Street in Colmore Business District to newly refurbished office space on the first floor. The third floor will then be taken over by the JLT Trading Division.
As of August 1, JLT’s Trading Division employs 78 staff, drawn from a variety of Specialty divisions. Further planned growth will see the workforce grow to between 85-90 people by year end.
The Midlands-wide expansion has also seen JLT relocate its Nottingham office to larger premises.
The Midlands corporate team now consists of 60 people; with specialist teams in Food & Agriculture, Construction, Engineering & Manufacturing, Mergers & Acquisitions and Restructuring & Recovery.

We have an ever-growing team of professional and experienced corporate risk and insurance advisers and we hope that our new offices will provide us with the space to continue to grow the team in the Midlands.”
