Bank strengthens mid-markets coverage with new director

Andy Moss

Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking has announced the appointment of a new director for mid-markets in the West Midlands.

Previously area director for SME manufacturing in the Midlands, Andy Moss will now lead the growth of the mid markets team in the West Midlands, supporting firms turning-over between £25m and £1bn.

Mr Moss brings almost two decades of commercial experience to his new position, having worked in business development and across a range of sectors, including legal and manufacturing.

Replacing him in his previous role is Richard Jenkins, who takes over a 10-strong Midlands SME manufacturing team, supporting firms in the sector with an annual turnover of between £1m and £25m.

Mr Jenkins joined Lloyds Bank in 2015 as area director for SME banking in the Black Country, and prior to that held positions at RBS and Grant Thornton.

Mr Moss said: “It’s great to be joining such a successful team under the leadership of Steve Clarke.  Mid-market firms play an important role in the ongoing success story that is the West Midlands economy. I’m looking forward to working with the team as we continue to support these businesses.”

Mr Jenkins said: “Andy and his team have done fantastic work supporting thousands of ambitious manufacturers across the Midlands.

“Our region is home to some of the most innovative, fast-growing manufacturing businesses in the country, and my new role gives me the exciting opportunity to help them continue on their upward trajectory.

“I’m looking forward to working with the team to continue supporting manufacturers in the industrial heart of the UK.”
