A Solihull security firm has secured a major contract extension to protect more than 240 companies in a Sandwell Business Improvement District (BID).

Integrity Security Group, which employs more than 150 people, provides a host of services to the Albion BID including the installation and monitoring of CCTV camera systems, managing mobile patrols and key holding, plus an alarm response.

“We are delighted to have secured a five-year extension to continue our work with Albion BID on creating a secure and vibrant place for people to do business,” said Integrity managing director Will Adams.

“It follows a successful first contract that started in 2011 and involved us developing a specific security plan that would cover all of the companies in the BID area.

“It is an approach that has worked, with incidents of crime and vandalism consistently decreasing.”

The initial success has led to further opportunities with other BIDs.

Gerry Kibble, chairman of Albion BID, said: “It has been important to build firm relationships with a professional company who can cover all aspects of security and can work flexibly to meet the needs of the businesses within the geographical area. Integrity is also very proactive at finding solutions for security issues that may be affecting our residents.”

2016 saw turnover at Integrity rise to over £3.1m, whilst in 2017 the firm has secured new business with amongst others, CPN Systems, Envira, Hellermann Tyton and Jack Enterprises. This is puitting the firm on course to increase turnover to £3.5m.
