Property Appointments: Bruton Knowles; Loveitts; Colliers International

Bruton Knowles has appointed Matthew Goaley as an associate at its office in Birmingham.

Mr Goaley joins the firm’s valuation team from DVS Property Specialists, the specialist property arm of the Valuation Office Agency (VOA), where he worked for seven years, having joined as a graduate in 2009.

He will assist Bruton Knowles’ specialist valuation team in advising a range of clients, including local councils and other public sector bodies.

While at DVS, his clients included the Department for Work and Pensions, Ministry of Defence, HMRC and NHS England.

Coventry and Warwickshire estate agents Loveitts has strengthened its board of directors with three new appointments.

The changes see Sally Smith, Paul Barnes and Chris Edsall, all of whom had previously held Associate Director positions, take full board responsibility.

Peter Rosier, Kendall Head and John Pugh remain as directors while the company looks to continue its growth trend.

Mr Rosier, managing director, said: “This is a truly exciting time for Loveitts and the latest appointments to our board reflect the impressive growth of the business.

“We are thrilled to be welcoming Sally, Paul and Chris to the board and their appointment is a testament to their hard work and dedication to our growing business.”

The firm, which provides auctions, commercial and property management, residential sales, new homes and land services, also manages 80 apartment blocks together with over 2,500 residential and commercial tenancies.

The firm employs more than 60 staff across its four offices.

Colliers International strengthened its Birmingham operation with seven new promotions.

Promoted to director are Ben Brown (Hotels Valuation) and Monique Royle (Licensed & Leisure).

Promoted to associate director is Nick Arden (Automotive & Roadside), while makes the jump to senior surveyor are: Edyta Mikulko (Valuation & Advisory) and Sam Cooke (National Offices).

Completing the promotions are Amber Kaur (Rating – Rate Account Management) and Marie Spittle (Rating – Rate Account Management), who are both elevated to senior business services level.
