Notts caravan site sold for £750,000

Riverside Caravan Park in Bleasby, Nottinghamshire, has been sold to a new operator for around £0.75m.

The 3.5 acre (1.4 hectare) park has capacity for 50 static caravans, with 48 currently on site. Located on the River Trent the site is close to Sherwood Forest, Southwell Racecourse and Rufford Abbey and 13 miles from Nottingham.

Richard Prestwich, associate director in the leisure and trade related team at Savills Chester, who brokered the deal, said: “The sale of Riverside Caravan Park marks the latest of a number of sales of similar businesses in the county. Demand for caravan parks in Nottinghamshire is at a 10-year high, driven by staycations and the popularity of the UK as a holiday destination.”
