Manufacturer invests in new factory

Engineering group Integr8 Manufacturing has moved into a 16,000 sq ft factory as it moves forward on its expansion plans.

The Coventry-based business also has plans to add staff at its new Binley site as its responds to increased demand.

Integr8, which was formerly PBK – Micron and Norman Precision, and is backed by Stratford-based investor Investx, operates across a number of sectors including, automotive, oil and gas, industrial and defence.

Integr8’s managing director Tim Lightfoot said: “The investment in this new site gives the business a great platform in which to grow and offer our expertise to a wider number of customers.

“Our innovative approach to finding solutions for our clients is testament to the highly skilled workforce we have at Integr8 and the move marks the start of an exciting journey for the business.”

The company, which also has a site in Stroud, machines in standard steels, specialist alloys, nylons and composites. At Coventry there is a specific speciality in large section castings (from low alloy carbon to duplex stainless) and super duplex billet turned components.
