Deals worth £3.2m completed at Birmingham Business Park

Regents Court

Three units on Birmingham Business Park in Solihull have been sold in deals worth a combined £3.2m.

The 8,826 sq ft 2410 Regents Court has been acquired by John Sisk & Sons, while CAPP & Co has purchased 2230 and 2235 Regents Court, together comprising 8,154 sq ft.

The sales were negotiated by Savills on behalf of client, PW Investments.

Jonathan Ottewell, associate director at Savills, said: “We are pleased with the strong sale prices achieved for these properties. That they have been purchased by owner occupiers underlines the market’s need for smaller, cost-effective and self-contained properties.

“Both occupiers are looking to invest in the long term future of their respective businesses and, given the increase in headline rents over the past couple of years, buying made more financial sense.”

David Penn, partner at Bromwich Hardy, which acted for CAPP & Co, added: “Our client was seeking to expand and improve the working environment provided for their staff. Having extended the search beyond Coventry, where the business started, Regents Court provided the space they needed and allowed them to add value in the short term.”

Alex Linley, chief executive of CAPP & Co, said: “We provide talent assessment solutions and products which deliver exceptional results and our company is growing quickly. We had very specific requirements in terms of suitable locations, which in fact changed over time and David introduced us to many potential properties. As soon as we saw Regents Court, we knew it would fit the bill perfectly.”
