A former retail and office building in the centre of Warwick has been sold for almost £400,000.

Developer Conor Smith has purchased 4 Church Street from a family trust after the property was marketed by commercial property agents D&P Holt.

Mr Smith, who works in the construction industry, intends to convert the building for use as his family home. He has secured planning consent from Warwick District Council to change the use of the building from commercial to residential and is now working on transforming the property.

Luke Hedderwick, of D&P Holt, said: “The local family trust wanted to realise the capital in the property so decided to sell.

“There was quite a bit of interest but we are delighted that we secured the deal with Conor and I’m keen to see how his plans progress. It’s a beautiful location and it will make a lovely family home.”
