Property Appointments: Colliers International; Feasibility; AC Lloyd

Rachael Lacy, Rachael Dempster, Nick Hammond, Claire Hughes, Sam Robinson

Colliers International has announced five promotions at its Birmingham office.

The changes see Nick Hammond and Rachael Lacy promoted to Director in the Advisory & Restructuring and Investment Property Management teams, respectively.

Meanwhile, Sam Robinson in Colliers’ Industrial & Logistics team has been promoted to Associate Director. Rachael Dempster in Rating and Claire Hughes in Advisory & Restructuring have both been promoted to Senior Business Services.

Colliers employs a multi-disciplinary team of 120-plus staff in Birmingham and it is the firm’s largest regional office.

Construction consultancy Feasibility has appointed experienced Quantity Surveyor Ben Spragg to its growing team.

The firm, which includes SEGRO, db symmetry, Griffen Capital, Chancerygate and XLB Property amongst its clients, is expanding following a year of sustained project delivery and a growing pipeline of new business.

Mr Spragg’s career includes 14 years in cost planning, cost management and contract administration across retail, residential, office, industrial and mixed-use developments.

During his career, he has worked with DBK, RPS and Henry Riley, and has recently been involved with the Worcester Six scheme, as well as the new Waitrose in Solihull.

Feasibility was founded in 2000 by Tim Payton and Neale Flavell, who own the company with fellow directors Daniel Holford and Sebastian Rose.

Mr Holford said: “As well as his impressive experience, Ben has a shared passion for client relationships, so he’s the perfect fit for our growing team. He’s worked on some fantastic projects over the years and we’re looking forward to seeing our clients benefit from his broad range of expertise.”

Warwick-based property company, AC Lloyd has appointed four new directors following growth within its residential and commercial departments.

The promotions include three people within AC Lloyd Homes and one in AC Lloyd Holdings.

David Henley, aged 58, who joined the business 30 years ago as a site manager before being promoted to Contracts Manager 10 years later, is now Construction Director.

Darren Meredith, 52, was appointed a Quantity Surveyor at AC Lloyd in 1992. After progressing through the ranks as a Senior Quantity Surveyor and Group Surveyor, he is now promoted to Surveying Director.

Darren Avern, 40, became part of AC Lloyd’s team 20 years ago as an Assistant Engineer. After gaining promotion to Engineer and then Senior Engineer, he has now been elevated to Technical Director.

Mark Edwards, aged 49, joined AC Lloyd as a consultant last March after being Managing Director at Gallagher Estates for 15 years. He has now been appointed a Director of AC Lloyd Holdings.

Current directors Alistair Clark and Des Wynne have become Managing Directors of AC Lloyd Homes and AC Lloyd Holdings respectively.

Peter Beddoes, chairman of the AC Lloyd group, said: “These four new positions underline the business’s commitment to rewarding existing staff for their dedication and skill over a long period.”
