Property appointments: LCP, GVA and IM Properties

Robin Mawby and Kevin Kendall from LCP

National property and investment company, LCP, has appointed two new directors.

Robin Mawby has been appointed UK finance director of LCP management and subsidiaries, a promotion from group financial controller of the LCP Group, and Kevin Kendall has accepted the role of finance director for Sheet Anchor Properties, a privately owned group of commercial property investment companies, whose assets are managed by LCP Management.

Kendall joined LCP in March 2016 as group financial controller, after spending three years as financial controller at Calthorpe Estates.

Nick Burgess, managing director of LCP, said: “We are an ambitious company that has put in place considerable targets for growth and this can only be achieved with a dedicated team and directors who really understand the business inside out. Both Kevin and Robin have superb track records in their fields and we are delighted to recognise their efforts by appointing them as directors.”

Potter has been with GVA for 32 years, and will move from his current role as national head of offices. He will continue to play an active part in client work, advising public and private sector clients, managing transactions and providing strategic advice on new development.

Potter said: “GVA is re-inventing itself as a business. We have developed a distinctly different approach to our industry. There is no doubt that the real estate business world is changing, our clients’ needs are evolving and our brand purpose positions us to meet all of these challenges.

Kathryn Hemingway and Tom Holdcroft

IM Properties strategic land arm, IM Land, has appointed Kathryn Hemingway as land and planning manager and Tom Holdcroft as technical co-ordinator.

Holdcroft and Hemingway will help IM Land’s team of housing professionals drive growth and deliver sustainable new communities with 12,000 plots.

Hemingway joins the company from Cushman and Wakefield, and Holdcroft from Residential and Commercial Engineers.

Hemingway said, “All companies like to think they’re dynamic, but IM Land truly are. You’re right in amongst the action from the land side, to planning and keeping abreast of all the latest legislation. There is a real scope to learn from very experienced professionals on the team and most importantly people who also value your opinion and allow you to think for yourself.”

Holdcroft said, “The experience and expertise of the team and its consultants is hugely impressive. You’re right at the top of the chain and able to help shape the schemes of the future.”
