Businessman takes national role at Federation of Small Businesses

Ian O’Donnell, director of Solihull-based print and web design business Real Point, has been appointed to the Federation of Small Businesses’ (FSB) national Board of Directors.

O’Donnell has been a member of FSB for 16 years, during which time he has taken on roles including chairman of the Coventry and Warwickshire area and a national FSB councillor, and has led policy development issues for the West Midlands region.

O’Donnell has lobbied government and policymakers in support of small businesses in Coventry and Warwickshire, the the wider region. He also represents FSB and small businesses on the West Midlands Mayor Andy Street’s business advisory group.

The FSB offers members advice, financial expertise and business support.

O’Donnell said: “This position will allow me to do even more to support small business interests and to contribute to FSB’s ongoing development.  I want to ensure that small businesses have their voices heard and get the support they need in these challenging times”.
