Costa Coffee announces North and West Midlands expansion

Costa Coffee has agreed deals for four new drive thru and drive to sites in Lancashire, West Yorkshire and the Midlands.

The brand will open new drive thru units at Hyndburn Retail Park near Blackburn; Colorado Way in Glasshoughton, Castleford; and Dudley Road in Kingswinford.

It has also secured a drive to unit at Junction One Retail Park in Rugby.

Costa has taken leases of between 10 and 15 years on each of the coffee shops, which are all between 1,800 sq ft and 2,042 sq ft.

Charlie Greenhalgh, out of town retail director at Savills, said: “Both Costa’s drive thru and drive to formats have been very successful and we are pleased to be supporting further expansion by securing these four deals in key out of town locations.”
