Work set to start on 100,000 sq ft speculative scheme

Contractors have been appointed to a major speculative industrial scheme in Cannock.

Trebor Developments / Kay Properties joint venture is pushing ahead with the construction of a 102,000 sq ft industrial building at Kingswood Lakeside, Cannock.

Independent Stabilisation Company has been appointed for the site preparation works and A&H Construction for the main building construction.

Work will start this month with the building ready for occupation within the next 12 months.

Bob Tattrie, managing partner, of Trebor Developments, said: “It is great to see Trebor/Kay Properties delivering another major speculative industrial project in the West Midlands, where there is little product available in this size range. The highly specified building will suit manufacturing or distribution businesses and is very well located to the M6 and M6 Toll road. We can customise the building to meet occupiers’ specific requirements.”

Trebor Developments / Kay Properties are represented by joint agents Knight Frank and JLL, Birmingham offices.
