Solihull scheme secures fourth new occupier in 12 months

Office space at Blenheim Court in Solihull has been let to Cadent Gas, formerly part of the National Grid and the fourth new occupier secured for the scheme in the last 12 months.

Comprising Radcliffe House and Chadwick House, Blenheim Court offers 150,000 sq ft of Grade A office space in total.

Cadent Gas has agreed a nine-year lease for 2,000 sq ft on the first floor of Radcliffe House.

The deal follows a 4,792 sq ft letting to Sweco in the same building earlier this year, which will see the engineering, environment and design consultancy return to Blenheim Court after a five year break.

In 2017, Legal & General Home Finance acquired the last remaining floor at Chadwick House in a 14,000 sq ft leasing deal.  The year also saw Managed Serviced Offices take 10,000 sq ft in Radcliffe House.

Savills, on behalf of a fund managed by Clearbell Capital, acted on the deals.

Jonathan Ottewell, associate director in the office agency team at Savills Birmingham, said: “Blenheim Court’s owners have invested a significant amount in improvement works over the last 12 months and occupiers are responding very positively, as the steady flow of deals reflects.”
