Fundraising campaign launched to save Birmingham recording studio

A £250,000 fundraising mission has been launched in a bid to preserve a part of Birmingham’s musical history.

Number 122A Highbury Road has played host to some big names in music such as UB40, Duran Duran and Ocean Colour Scene.

But now the property in Birmingham’s Kings Heath, Rain Studios, is under threat as the owner is selling up, but it is hoped that the studios could still live on if a fundraising appeal reaches its target.
