Recruitment firm sets up national HQ in Bromsgrove

Edge Careers have bought the freehold of CDS House on Harris Business Park in Bromsgove for their new national headquarters.

The sale was arranged by GJS Dillon the Warwickshire based firm of Chartered Surveyors for £495,000

Edge Careers is a construction industry recruitment firm, with offices in London, Manchester and Oxford

The building was formerly owned by Commercial Design Solutions Holdings Ltd, who instructed GJS Dillon to manage the sale.

CDS House is 3,147 sq ft two storey office building, with 12 car parking spaces.

The sale is further evidence of the use of pension schemes to facilitate property transactions.

Charlie Green, of CJS Dillon, who negotiated the deal said: “With a shortage of freehold office space in Worcestershire , we attracted a great deal of interest in this office building. continuing low interest rates, the willingness of the banks to lend to acqire property and the tax advantages of acquiring business premises through Self Administered Pension Schemes mean that many business owners are keen to acquire for themselves property used by their business.”
