Distribution merger will improve effectiveness

Antifriction, one of the UK’s leading industrial parts distributors, is moving its operations to the Dudley premises of its sister company Ehrco, in order to hold more specialised stock in a bigger warehouse in a move costing £100,000. The move is part of a national investment by the business of £1m across the UK.

Antifraction, which has doubled its Midlands turnover in the last six years, is part of Gruppo Bianchi, a big European distribution business, and it supplies lubricants, fluid power products, bearings and other components to industry.

Andrew Fleming, head of Antifraction UK said: ” This latest investment will allow us to integrate our operation more closely with Ehrco, which offers product lines which complement our stock. This investment progresses our longer term plan to provide te most comprehensive range of parts to UK industry, delivered with first class customer service and unrivalled delivery times.”

Efficient and timely distribution is essential for client businesses to work productively, said Damian Spencer, Antifraction’s Midlands Manager: ” Our clients rely on our products to keep their operations running smoothly. The new move will enable us to keep a huge range of stock on site. With Dudley’s great transport links , we’ll be able to improve our delivery times even further and keep te wheels of industry turning in the Midlands.”
