Stone King opens a Birmingham office

Law firm Stone King, which employs 250 people, have opened an office in Birmingham city centre at Colmore Gate.

The new office is the latest addition to their national infrastructure, with the ambition of being a leading provider of education expertise, with strong presence in key regions like the West Midlands, to complement their offices in London, Bath, Leeds and Cambridge.

Ann Phillips, chairperson of Stone King said: “We are delighted to mark our move into Birmingham and show our commitment to the region. I am also very pleased to welcome our latest recruits , who are well known experts in their field in the area and will be a real asset to the firm.”

Stone King has recruited Esther Maxwell and Charlotte Melhuish to its education team from Harrison Clark Rickerbys, as well as Amrick Saggu, from Birmingham City Council, who joins its Commercial Property team.

Phillips added: “Our initial focus is to grow our leading education sector services, building on the work we do with more than 800 schools, academies and multi-academy trusts across the country.”

Stone King has over 200 years of professional experience and focuses on charity, social enterprise, and private client work as well as education.
