Law firm buys Worcester headquarters

Thursfields' Nick O'Hara with James Mattin from Bond Wolfe

Law firm Thursfields has purchased the building which houses the company’s headquarters.

The building, K2 on The Tything, Worcester, was on the market for offers of more than £1m.

The 6,400 sq ft building was previously the administration building for Kays Catalogues before it was converted in 2000.

Nick O’Hara, managing director of Thursfields Solicitors, said: “K2 is an investment in our future and demonstrates our commitment to securing the foundations of the firm.

“We welcomed the opportunity to acquire K2 as it houses our head office and gives us a base from which to continue our expansion across the region.”

Thursdfields occupy two of the three floors, with estate agent F A Humberstones and New Cross Healthcare Solutions in the remaining space.

K2 was sold by agents Bond Wolfe on behalf of a private investor, while GJS Dillon advised Thursfields Solicitors on the purchase of the freehold of K2.

James Mattin, managing partner of Bond Wolfe said: “The purchase of K2 is one of the most attractive office facades on The Tything. It is fully let and represents a sound investment for Thursfields.”
