130-year-old jeweller returns to Wolverhampton after 40 years

Independent jeweller T.H. Baker is returning to Wolverhampton after 40 years with a store opening at the Mander Centre in August.

The family jewellers will occupy a 2,000sqft unit on the upper mall, opposite the Debenhams and will stock jewellery and watch brands, including Tag Heuer, Gucci and Tissot.

Founded almost 130 years ago as a family-owned business, T. H. Baker now has 30 stores nationwide, located throughout the Midlands and southern England.

Phillip Higgs, chief operating officer of T. H Baker, said: “We are all very excited to be making our return to Wolverhampton at the Mander Centre.

“We will be working closely with the Mander Centre to offer an extraordinary consumer experience and look forward to welcoming everyone in Wolverhampton to our new store this summer.”

The new T.H. Baker store has created six jobs within the city.

Cushman & Wakefield, Jackson Criss and BWD are the leasing agents at the Mander Centre.
