Bank relocates within Brindleyplace

Cushman & Wakefield's David Tonks and Charles Toogood from GVA at Four Brindleyplace

Unity Trust Bank is to move its Birmingham base, but is only moving from one side of Brindleyplace to another as part of its expansion.

The bank has agreed a 10-year lease for 10,888 sq ft of space at Four Brindleyplace, where it will be alongside Deloitte, Mercer and Michael Page.

It has been in number nine, which is now branded as the Oozells Building, for 13 years. A £4m refurbishment of that building will be relaunched shortly.

GVA and Savills are joint letting agents at Brindleyplace acting on behalf of the asset manager, Hines UK. Cushman & Wakefield acted for Unity Trust Bank on completion of the deal.

Charles Toogood, GVA, said: “Through a continued commitment to innovation and investment, Brindleyplace remains a desirable commercial destination for a diverse range of occupiers.

“As a longstanding occupier at Brindleyplace, it is fantastic that Unity Trust Bank has decided to both remain on the estate and expand its space.”
