‘Truly different’ accountancy firm increases revenue again

Ade Cheatham of PKF Cooper Parry

Revenue at accountancy and business advisory firm PKF Cooper Parry has increased its revenue by 11% to £35m, the firm says.

The results means the business has doubled its turnover in three years, as well as appointed nine new partners, hiring over 90 new starters and expanding into the West Midlands market after acquiring Clement Keys.

Amongst people promoted in the past year to partner were corporate finance partner, Phil Hinson and head of people and culture, April Bembridge. The business also appointed partner and chief digital officer, Abi Bown, from Vodafone. Scott Riley joined from a former position as chief strategy officer at GCI as a partner in PKF Cooper Parry’s IT Solutions business, which acquired Sync Interactive, a creative agency based in the West Midlands specialising in mobile and business apps.

Chief executive, Ade Cheatham, said: “In a world of rapid change, we’re still making clients happier than ever, improving more businesses than ever and we’re having fun too. But along with this, I always think it’s the people behind this – their thinking, intuition and attitude – that make us truly different.”

The firm released its figures ahead of filing its accounts at Companies House and did not respond to a request for its profit figures.
