Worcestershire creative agency drp has made its second acquisition in a year as it continues to expand its capacity and extend its capabilities.

The creative communications business has bought HMX Corporate Communication, an agency based in Buckinghamshire which specialises in video, digital media, and live events.

The deal, for an undisclosed sum, follows the purchase of events business Penguins in September 2017.

Dale Parmenter, group chief executive of drp, said: “We are thrilled to have HMX on board as part of the drp team and we are looking forward to expanding our capacity and extending our capability as a business, helping to support our mission statement of being the company of choice.

“HMX is an established, creative and distinguished agency which we are very much looking forward to welcoming into our team and bringing their expertise into our business.”

The acquisition extends the reach of the business and increases the total team count to more than 280 people.
