Agent appointed to Birmingham’s tallest residential development

Residential and commercial property agency KWB has been appointed to manage what will be Birmingham’s tallest new residential development.

With two towers of 33 storeys and 21 storeys, Regal Property Group’s The Bank development will offer residents extensive views across the Birmingham skyline.

KWB’s residential property management team will manage the 417 apartment scheme currently under construction just off Birmingham’s Broad Street, close to its junction with Sheepcote Street.

Tower One, the first phase of the scheme, comprises 189 studio, one- and two-bedroom apartments in a 21 storey building completed in June 2018, while Tower Two comprising  217 apartments in the 33 storey building is expected to be ready for occupation in December 2019.

KWB will provide all building management services for The Bank, including a concierge, safety and security services, management of the common spaces, grounds and gym, as well as service charge collection and liaison with the apartments’ occupiers and owners.

“We are delighted to have been appointed to manage Birmingham’s most prestigious and tallest new residential development.  It’s a real feather in the cap for our growing residential management team,” says Mark Lenton, head of property and asset management at KWB.

Based in Henley in Arden, Regal Property Group has previously developed Regal Court in Birmingham’s Bishopsgate Street, as well as commercial developments and mixed use developments in the North West and East Midlands.

Regal Property Group director Mark Holbeche said: “We have designed The Bank to be the pinnacle of luxurious city living in Birmingham.  With its striking appearance, and being Birmingham’s tallest residential tower, there’s no doubt that this building will become an iconic landmark in the city centre, so it was vital for us to appoint an experienced and engaged local managing agent to set and maintain the highest management standards for this exciting development.”

Knight Frank is the selling agent for The Bank, and 95% of Tower 1 has already sold.
