Housebuilder launches residential scheme plans following land acquisition

Developer Meadowview Homes is set to build 14 houses in a Warwickshire village after acquiring a 1.53 acre site.

The site, off Norton Hill in the south east of the village of Austrey, will be the Derby-based housebuilder’s first development in Warwickshire.

The site already has reserved matters planning approval for 14 dwellings and an access road approved by North Warwickshire Borough Council.

Tristan Mosely, architectural technician for Meadowview Homes, said, “We are excited to be bringing our prestigious new properties to the delightful village of Austrey, as part of the local development plan.”

Gary Kirk, associate director at property consultancy Mather Jamie, said: “Following their acquisition of this site which is sits in an enviable position on the edge of the village, Meadowview Homes will be building its first development in this area, bringing much needed new homes to Austrey.”
