Developer pays £2.9m for Solihull office block

BPG has bought Warwick House in Solihull

Property group BPG has paid £2.9m for Warwick House in central Solihull.

The 1970s building comprises 15,000 sq ft over four floors and is within a short walk of the Touchwood shopping centre.

BPG director John Southall said:”Warwick House is a fantastic acquisition with 60 parking spaces in one of the region’s prime locations. We are carefully considering options for the building’s future, including refurbishment and development, which will take full advantage of its potential and position in such close proximity to the town centre.”

“The strong local economy means stock has been low for some time, so we are delighted to have seized this rare opportunity.”

BPG is putting down strong roots in Solihull as it recently moved its headquarters from central Birmingham to a new office in Solihull in order to have the space to expand its team as the business grows.

BPG works in the delivery of schemes, including mixed use schemes, as well as asset management. It has made a number of investments recently including large office buildings in Edgbaston, Coventry and Moseley.
