First phase of former office block’s redevelopment unveiled

Elevate Property Group has released images of the first phase of Princes Gate, its major redevelopment of the former Solihull office complex in Homer Road.

The Birmingham-based house builder has just launched the show apartment at Phase 1 of Princes Gate.

Princes Gate is the redevelopment of former office buildings including Consort House, Royal House and Regent House which was acquired by Elevate Property Group and its joint venture partner Investin in March this year from New York-based global real estate investment management company Westbrook Partners.

Regional contractor J A Ball of Leicester is underway with the project to convert the three office buildings into 100 apartments.

The new residential space will include a mix of studio, one and two bedroom apartments.

The Solihull office of John Shepherd has been appointment selling agents.

Katie Ridley, new homes manager at John Shepherd, said: “This is a highly prestigious development in a very good location close to Solihull town centre and railway station, with Birmingham International railway station, the NEC and Birmingham International Airport nearby.

“Solihull railway station is only 200 metres away and gives access to London in 1 hour 30 minutes, and Birmingham city centre in as little as 12 minutes.

“The location is prompting strong interest.”

Elevate Property Group is based in St Paul’s Square in Birmingham and has already been responsible for bringing to market accommodation in Concord House, Queensway House, St Paul’s House and Honduras Wharf.

Steve Dodd, managing director of Elevate Property Group, said: “We have wasted no time in bringing Phase I to market as soon as possible and we are all set to announce exciting plans for Phase II with construction starting shortly.”
