Developer announces £9.5m speculative scheme

Midlands developer Barberry has unveiled plans for the £9.5m speculative development of a 70,000 sq ft warehouse unit at the site of a former DIY store in Northamptonshire. Barberry has acquired a 3.5-acre site at Sopwith Way, Daventry, for an undisclosed sum from New River Retail. It marks the latest in a growing portfolio of production/warehouse developments for Barberry, which has a 2018/19 pipeline of mid-box units at 16 individual buildings totaling 850,000 sq ft.
