A West Midlands manufacturer has expanded to new premises to help it meet a growing demand for its products.

Burton-upon-Trent based Hi-Line Industries has relocated to the new 16,500sq ft site on Green Street in Burton.

The business, which was established in 2000, is a leading manufacturer and stockist of air filters, absorption dryers and air treatment ancillaries which are found in a wide range of industrial and commercial applications.

Hi-Line, which employs 24 staff, specialises in the design, manufacture and installation of innovative desiccant and refrigerant air dryers, filter housings, nitrogen/oxygen generators and condensate systems.

The business was previously based at Crown Industrial Estate but outgrew the premises.

Director Steven Smith said: “Following an increase in our order book, it became necessary for us to find larger premises to meet our customers’ growing demands. Staying in Burton was important to us and our employees and therefore when the opportunity arose to purchase this site, we were keen to secure it.”

Funding for the premises was provided by Barclays.

Asha D’Souza, business manager at Barclays in Burton on Trent, said: “Hi-Line Industries have seen organic growth and I am delighted we have been able to support them with the purchase on a new commercial site which will provide a great platform for them to further grow the business.”
