Growing interest in American muscle and European sports cars has resulted in an expanding online parts retailer buying its own warehouse in Bromsgrove.

John Truslove agreed the £212,000 deal for Nemesis UK Performance to purchase and move into the 2,218 sq ft warehouse with two-storey offices on Saxon Business Park.

The family-owned company, which imports parts and accessories for vehicle upgrades in the UK performance car market, previously operated from rented premises in Bromsgrove, but the growing business needed a bigger site for extra staff and storage.

Dawn Tomlinson, marketing and e-commerce manager at Nemesis UK, said: “We’ve seen a real surge in demand for vehicle upgrades and body styling options for cars like the newer Ford Mustang, as well as Porsche and Chevrolet models proving particularly popular.

“As a result, we’ve established new product lines, so we needed more space for stock and decided the time was right to invest in our own premises.

“The unit John Truslove helped us to buy has plenty of headroom in the warehouse for us to continue to our expansion, and we’ve also taken on extra staff to support our mounting operations.”

Ian Parker, a director at Redditch-based John Truslove, said: “We were delighted to work closely with Nemesis UK to help their purchase of the property on Saxon Business Park.

“This unit has decent offices, plenty of space for future expansion in the warehouse and it has also provided a more professional setting for the growing company.”
