Agents aim to tackle shortage of small industrial units following contract wins

A property specialist has set itself a mission of tackling the shortage of smaller industrial units in the region after securing a trio of contracts.

Siddall Jones management team are celebrating after securing the management of three industrial estates.

The firm, based in Birmingham’s Jewellery Quarter, has secured the management of Albion Works in Brierley Hill, Alexandra Business Park in Handsworth and Northwood Works in Aston.

The specialist management department of the firm was set up 12 months ago and is now on the hunt to manage more sites and continue its expansion.

Siddall Jones says it is keen to tackle the lack of smaller industrial units through the provision of suitable sites and are helping by acquiring sites for clients and then providing advice on either splitting larger warehouses into smaller units or refurbishing existing secondary stock in order to make it more attractive to the market.

The firm will over see the refurbishment of the Albion Works estate and has already let one vacant unit at Albion Works within in one week to a local manufacturing firm.

Edward Siddall Jones, director of Siddall Jones Commercial Property Consultancy, said: “These are exciting times for the company as we are now offering a more diverse range of services to our clients in the hope of being a one stop shop for any commercial property owner or investor.”
