New home for property firm after 60 years

Fishers Property Letting and Management, established more than 100 years ago, has finalised its relocation to Edgbaston Village after agreeing a lease with Calthorpe Estates.

Fishers has moved in to offices at 30 Harborne Road, leaving its home of more than 60 years in neighbouring Harborne.

Owner Alan Holland said: “Having a more centrally-located base will mean our customers will have easier access to our new office and be able to take advantage of the range of leisure and lifestyle facilities across Edgbaston Village within walking distance of one another. Transport links are much improved thanks to the close proximity to Five Ways station and a number of local bus routes, in addition to a pay and display car parking to the rear of our office.”

Matt Long, portfolio development director at Calthorpe Estates, added: “Leaving such a long-established home is a big step in Fishers’ journey and we’re delighted that they’ve chosen Edgbaston Village as their new location. Thanks to its thriving retail and leisure offering and growing prominence in the region, it is the perfect location for the well-established business and its customers.”
