History festival returns to Worcester

The annual Love Worcester festival returns to the historic city this month.

A variety of heritage venues are taking part in the two-week heritage festival, showcasing Worcester’s history, creativity, culture and innovation, from the prehistoric to the mid-20th Century.

By bringing together heritage venues across the city in a shared celebration of Worcester’s history, the annual festival promises something for everyone.

Venues taking part include the Cathedral, Worcester Art Gallery & Museum, The Hive, Masonic Museum, Tudor House, Greyfriars, the Commandery, St Swithin’s, All Saints, St Helen’s in the High Street, St Martin’s in the Cornmarket, The Infirmary and the George Marshall Medical Museum.

Leaflets and information about the event taking place between 14 and 24 February can be found at Worcester Tourist Information Centre.

Chair of the Worcester Heritage Partnership and manager of Tudor House, Tonia Collett, says: “This incredible event has been growing in success and ambition over the past seven years.

“By bringing all the heritage venues and historic buildings together, we can fully celebrate Worcester’s unique and world-class history, bringing it to life for everyone.”
