Office block set for residential conversion after sale to investor

A West Bromwich office block is to be converted into residential accommodation following its sale to a private investor for £2.1m.

Property agents Bond Wolfe have sold Metro Court, which will be converted into 45 apartments, including 17 one bedroom, 24 two bedroom and four three bedroom apartments.

Metro Court totals 26,225 sq ft over three floors and has an under croft car park for 25 vehicles

The building marks Bond Wolfe’s third office to residential sale, following on from the sales of Society House and Parham House in 2018.

Bond Wolfe managing partner James Mattin said: “Bond Wolfe have already transacted over £6m in sales in 2019 and this sale is typical of a number of the transactions we concluded in West Bromwich last year.

“Metro Court will provide much needed and in demand residential accommodation in the town centre while offering excellent transport links to the wider West Midlands.”
