Technology group secures funding

A software firm has received £250,000 from the Midlands Engine Investment Fund (MEIF) to continue its growth plans for its cloud based HR products.

Natural HR expects to create 10 jobs over the next three years as a consequence of the additional support.

Sarah Dowzell, director at Natural HR, said: “Natural HR has an exciting future and this funding will allow us to not only extend our team, but advance and develop our products and services for existing and new clients.”

The Birmingham-based company’s equity finance investment has come from Midven, which has responsibility for some of the £250m fund.

Midven had previously invested £235,000 into Natural HR through its Early Advantage Fund over the previous three years, seeding the company alongside several private investors.

Giovanni Finocchio, investment director at Midven, said: “We have seen Natural HR grow since our initial investment in 2015, having continued to develop market-leading HR solutions. I’m delighted we have invested further in what is an exciting and resourceful company with a huge amount of potential.”

Natural HR’s online employee management systems have been developed over the last decade, from a timesheet solution into a full-service system covering the whole employee cycle.
