Rosconn set for promising year with strong first quarter

Q1 of 2019 has been very busy for all at Rosconn Strategic Land with efforts focused on converting the high-quality land promotion sites within our portfolio, into planning permissions and land sales.

Sales have been agreed on sites in Leicestershire and Oxfordshire, and on each occasion private development companies have been selected. This demonstrates the long-term view, that some of the niche, privately owned, development companies are taking, when it comes to developing houses in locations with robust housing markets.

Having been selected in a very competitive environment on a draft allocation within Bedford Borough, an outline planning application has now been submitted for up to 200 houses. Rosconn were selected in part because of their user-friendly manner of dealing with landowners and their advisers.

Desford Parish Council (Leicestershire) have supported our planning application for up to 80 homes in the village, on a site identified by the community in their emerging Neighbourhood Plan. There has been plenty of interest shown by housebuilders for the site when it comes to market, which emphasises the strength of the local housing market.

A further planning application has also been submitted in the sought-after village of Elsenham, Uttlesford for up to 44 dwellings on a site that again benefits from a draft allocation in the authority’s emerging Local Plan.

Rosconn’s external team of consultants has grown with many planning related consultancies reaching out and wanting to be part of the Rosconn Journey. The promise we give to our landowners is that only the highest quality external consultants will be used in order to complement our own experienced team.  It is good to work with those practices, across the various planning and technical disciplines, that always try to exceed Rosconn’s exacting standards.

Rosconn continue to add more land promotion sites to the portfolio and are very interested in securing high quality land promotion opportunities. We would ask for all landowners and their advisers to get in touch as we are always happy to offer a no obligation consultation and assessment of land parcels at no cost.
