Popular Birmingham bar and music venue gets a further stay of execution

Birmingham city centre bar The Flapper will remain open until at least 2020 after a deal was struck with the pub’s landlord. After news broke that the venue may be in jeopardy, a petition was signed by more than 11,000 people to prevent Birmingham City Council and Whitehorse Estates agreeing to the residential block plans.
