Property People: LSH rating team bolstered in Birmingham; New recruit for Cushman & Wakefield’s logistics and industrial team

Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has bolstered its Birmingham rating team with the appointment of associate director David Bullimore.

Bullimore will support LSH’s major retail, office and industrial occupiers and landlord clients with advice on minimising rates liabilities and challenging rating assessments.

Mark Clapham, head of rating at LSH in Birmingham, said: “David has an established track record in commercial property and a vast knowledge of rating and all the associated issues that may affect our clients. I’m delighted to welcome him to the rating team at a time when we’re strengthening and extending our services across the region.”

Bullimore said: “Lambert Smith Hampton has an outstanding client base, a highly experienced rating team and a positive can-do attitude.  I am thrilled to have joined LSH and look forward to working with LSH’s clients and assisting them in minimising their rates liabilities.   I will build on the first class business rates service LSH provides and strengthen existing client relationships.”

He joins the business from Birmingham based chartered surveyors Johnson Fellows.

Cushman & Wakefield has expanded its national logistics and industrial team in Birmingham with the appointment of Dominic Towler as surveyor.

Towler joins from Sanderson Weatherall in Leeds and was previously at Colliers International.

He joins the five-strong logistics and industrial team in Birmingham, headed up by partner Simon Lloyd and will be covering the West and East Midlands markets.

Lloyd said: “We are pleased to welcome Dominic, his skills and experience will be an asset to the team and our clients.”
