Europa invests £250,000 in logistics site refit

Logistics company Europa Worldwide Group has injected £250,000 into its Birmingham site.

The company’s site at Prologis Park in Minworth is home to four divisions if its business, including its Europa Sea, Showfreight and Road teams. It also includes a 178,000 sq ft warehouse.

Europa is investing in its offices at the site, as it looks to bring its physical infrastructure up to scratch.

The works will include new office spaces, meeting and informal spaces, an IT and electrical refit and new interior design.

HR Director at Europa Carl Potter said: “This significant investment in our Minworth facility, which will be completed in July this year, will make this site a much better place to work for all staff.

“We’ve been gradually working through each of our sites in turn, refreshing them to the highest of standards, and feedback from our employees is that the investment has really given them a boost.

“Since Andrew Baxter acquired the business, we’ve also opened new sites in Leeds, Sheffield and Belfast and moved our Nottingham, Manchester and Glasgow sites.!

Europa Worldwide Group employs more than 900 people across its 16 sites in the UK, as well as Hong Kong, Belgium and the Czech Republic.
