A technology park close to Coventry city centre is close to capacity after welcoming its latest tenant.

Coventry University Technology Park, a 20-acre site with 19 buildings just outside the inner ring road, is now home to 74 tenants ranging from micro businesses through to larger organisations.

Over the course of the past two years, the Technology Park has seen stable growth in occupancy and the latest deal – agreed through the park’s commercial property agents Holt Commercial – has seen CloserStill Media take 4,241 sq ft of space on a long-term lease.

The success means that the park is at its highest occupancy for many years with some smaller units available to let.

Sarb Ladhar, of Coventry University Technology Park, said: “This is a great success story and shows that there is a thirst for good quality office space in Coventry.

“As well as the on-site conference and meeting rooms, businesses here can tap into a range of business support services and collaboration opportunities. Our Tenants like the association with the prestigious Coventry University Technology Park name.

“By attracting our latest tenant it means there are a few of the smaller sized offices remaining.”

Jonathan Moore, a director at Holt Commercial, said quality office space was highly sought-after in Coventry.

He said: “Coventry University Technology Park shows that there is a demand for this type of space in the city.

“It’s very well-located and, as well as offering great offices, there are also support services available and the chance to be part of a thriving business eco-system.

“We are very pleased with the results we have helped to achieve here and look forward to continuing the success story.”
