Global flooring firm invests in Birmingham with new HQ

A global flooring company has relocated its UK head office to Birmingham following a £1m investment.

Interface, which is currently based in Halifax where it will retain a team, has relocated to The Colmore Building which has been made its new UK HQ.

Interface, which is based in Atlanta and trades on NASDAQ, specialises in the design and manufacture of carbon neutral carpet tile and resilient flooring including luxury vinyl tile and rubber flooring.

Vice-president and UK general manager Lee Mellor said: “This is an exciting time for our growth in the UK and we have so much to show and share with our customers.

“We thought long and hard about the location of our new offices and we could not be more pleased with our decision.

“Our investment in Birmingham not only makes business sense but, more importantly, we have created a positive space that will inspire not only our team but also customers, architects and designers from across the region who we’d love to come and share the space with us.

“We’re excited to open the doors to this unique co-working space and strongly believe that people will find The Greenhouse an invigorating and inspiring place to visit and work.”
