Nuneaton industrial development could create 350 jobs

Property experts Goodman along with construction partner Winvic have begun the build of a 230,000 sq ft logistics and industrial development in Nuneaton that is set to generate 350 jobs.

Nuneaton 230, a 10-acre site at Bermuda Park, north of Coventry and two miles from Junction 3 of the M6, will provide industrial and warehouse space and be available from winter 2019.

Customers will have access to more than 5.5m consumers within a 60-minute HGV drivetime – with a combined spending power of £86.6bn.

“The Nuneaton 230 development is a testament to Goodman’s investment in the area, with up to 350 jobs due to be created in such a prime location,” said Nigel Dolan, Development Director at Goodman.

“Nuneaton 230 will cement Bermuda Park’s status as a key logistics and distribution location, opening up access to a substantial consumer base and benefitting from strong transport links.

“Given this connectivity, we anticipate the development will appeal to logistics companies and retailers operating on a national and regional basis, all aiming to respond to rapidly evolving markets and invest in the efficiency of their supply chains.”

Goodman is confident customers and their employees will benefit from the destination’s strong connectivity and close proximity to the UK motorway network and railway, with Bermuda Park railway station also on its doorstep.

They will also benefit from generous internal height and efficient warehouse layout and design with the high-specification building “providing customers with flexibility and operational efficiency”.
