Hydraulic company expands UK presence through acquisition

Brennan Industries, a hydraulic and pneumatic fitting sources company with a distribution centre in Walsall, has acquired Nottinghamshire firm Miric Engineering Limited.

This is Brennan’s second acquisition in the UK following the purchase of Truflow Hydraulic Components in 2016.

Based in Cleveland, USA, Brennan Industries provides companies throughout the world with the high-quality, critical flow components.

Brennan’s products are stocked in 13 strategically located distribution centres across North America, Europe and Asia.

Miric manufactures Sureseal hydraulic fittings and adapters; a range which is designed, manufactured and assembled in-house.

David Yates of Miric said: “Brennan is a multinational player with an excellent reputation in the critical flow components sector.”

Lee Wojtkiw, Director of the Camlee Group, who led the transaction on behalf of the vendors said: “This transatlantic deal will enable Brennan to further expand into the UK & European market and ensure that Miric can continue its own development with the backing and support of a global player”.
