West Midlands Leadership Awards 2019: ‘There is so much talent in the region deserving of recognition’

The winners of the 2018 Midlands Leadership Awards

The winner of the Transformational Leader accolade at the 2018 Leadership Awards is urging companies to enter this year’s event to ensure that ‘modern leadership in all its facets’ continues to be celebrated.

Phil Mead of NEC Group Arenas, took home the award, sponsored by Ellis Whittam, which recognised how transformational change requires exceptional leadership, delivering measurable success in an organisation.

He said: “While it is reward in itself to create legacy for the region through the projects I have been fortunate to lead within my role at the NEC Group, it was an unforeseen delight to be recognised for this work through the 2018 Transformational Leader Award.

“There is so much talent in the region deserving of recognition. I would encourage all organisations, no matter their size or industry, to participate in TheBusinessDesk.com’s Leadership Awards in order to ensure that we celebrate modern leadership in all its facets.”

The West Midlands Leadership Awards will take place again this November to showcase the very best leaders and organisations across the region – and nominations are now open.

TheBusinessDesk.com has created the West Midlands Leadership Awards to celebrate the people that are role models within their organisations and raise the bar for their competitors. The winners will show the qualities of extraordinary leadership and be able to demonstrate the positive impact this has had.

The Leadership Awards, which are supported by headline sponsor Curium Solutions, offer a great opportunity to recognise and showcase the achievements and success of businesses in the region.
