Funding package strengthens Trojan

CORPORATE clothing manufacturers Trojan have won a contract to supply uniforms to British Gas after securing new funding from RBS and GuidingCapital.

Sundernote Ltd, which trades under the Trojan name, operates from Garretts Green Lane, Birmingham, and was founded 24 years ago. It employs 22 people and supplies corporate clothing and workwear to major companies including TNT and the Morgan Motor Company.

Managing Director Rob Righton said: “By working closely with our RBS Relationship Manager Vinny Bhogal and Ian Fletcher from the Bank’s Global Transaction Services we have come up with a financial package which has been tailored specifically for our company. Additionally we have received excellent support from Ralph Catto at GuidingCapital who have invested in Trojan.”

Ian Fletcher, International Manager, RBS Global Transaction Services, said: “We are delighted to be able to provide Trojan with a package involving Trade Finance and RBS Invoice Financing to help them develop new markets and customers.

“NatWest and RBS have announced they have made an additional £250 million funding available to SMEs in the West Midlands.  This further commitment to the SME sector is in addition to providing traditional debt finance, offering businesses the opportunity to access other avenues available to help them manage their capital and cashflow through the current economic downturn.”
